Welcome to AcrossCampus, operated by AcrossCampus LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at www.acrosscampusnetwork.com, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 16 years old to use AcrossCampus. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Certain features may require verification of college or university enrollment. By creating an account, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is found to be inactive, misleading, or harmful.
AcrossCampus provides a platform for:
- Students to build resumes and connect with internships.
- Founders and student entrepreneurs to post opportunities.
- Mentors to engage in public Q&A and offer guidance.
We do not guarantee employment, mentorship, funding, or startup outcomes. Use of the platform is at your own discretion and risk.
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation
- Post false or misleading jobs, internships, or opportunities
- Upload viruses or harmful code
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- Use bots, scrapers, or automation to misuse the Platform
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of all content you post (resumes, opportunities, messages). By posting, you grant AcrossCampus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for platform-related purposes.
AcrossCampus retains all rights to the Platform itself, including logos, layout, and code.
The Platform may integrate or link to third-party tools (e.g., Firebase, resume builders, analytics platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
Some features (such as resume feedback, opportunity matching, or student verification) may use automated systems or AI. These tools are for informational purposes only and do not replace professional judgment or human review.
The Platform is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- That users will find employment, co-founders, or mentorship
- That the Platform will always be secure, timely, or error-free
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AcrossCampus LLC is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of earnings, data, or opportunities
- Unauthorized use of your account
- Downtime or disruptions in service
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted on the Platform and/or communicated via email.
Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
We may suspend or delete your account at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any legal action must be filed in the courts located in Camden County, NJ.
